Women on Mission
This group of ladies is committed to equipping adult women in becoming active disciples of Christ as we live on mission for Him. Our purpose, through mission action projects & ministries, prayer, giving, and Bible study, is to reach the lost with the Gospel.
Women's Bible Study
Bible studies and/or book discussion groups gather weekly (at the church or in someone’s home) for a time to focus on the Word and what God is doing in individual lives. Our ladies especially like the “roundtable” sharing and prayer time where we acknowledge our praises and the needs of our ladies, their friends and families, as well as our church.
Women's Meals for Shut-Ins
The ladies gather every other month to prepare a meal for folks who may be homebound, at home caring for a loved one, or that just needs an extra bit of tender loving care. Meals are prepared in the church kitchen by volunteer “cooks” and delivered to the assigned shut-in’s door by voluntary “drivers”. This day the meal was baked chicken, summer succotash, baked beans and strawberry cream cheese dessert!
Mission Crafters
You don’t have to be able to knit, crochet, or even sew to join this group. These ladies are always busy with some type of craft or sewing project to help others. The items may be given to different individuals in need or agencies and healthcare facilities to aid them in taking care of the sick and/or the less fortunate. From sewing … crocheting … gluing … or stuffing pillows … there is a task for youl!
Women's Retreat
An annual retreat is planned to give our ladies a time of refreshment and renewal … a special time to break away from the busyness of life to draw closer to God and each other. A long weekend is planned around a specific focus/Bible study and there is always lots of learning, loving, and laughing to be had by all!
Ladies Fellowship
Ladies Fellowship is a monthly social event where RRBC women and their friends gather around the table and share their lives through caring conversation, encouraging words, and unspeakable laughter. Restaurant locations vary and each person picks up their own tab.
